Georgi Bojinov's Bulgarian airplane
|
| Bulgarian Georgi Bojinov received a patent on October 8, 1912 in
France for an aircraft significantly ahead of its time. In Bojinov's
patent, the engine was placed beneath an aerodynamic cowling; the
wings were designed with a variable pitch. The plane was finally built
in 1926, and today it can be seen here in the Bulgarian Museum of
Aviation, Plovdiv. |
