The Momina salza pavilion in the town of Hissar, Bulgaria

The Momina salza pavilion in the town of Hissar, Bulgaria.

People travel to Hissar (Hisarja) from a wide area to take a supply of water from this specially erected fountain. Since even before the days of the Romans people have known the healthy benefits of this water. Ruins of the old town walls, some largely intact, are seen everywhere in Hissar.
