The ancient water reservoir on Nebet Tepe was built in the middle of the first century and a system of aqueducts delivered water to the ancient city. It is built of stone and brick. During the restoration, the destroyed original brick covering was replaced with the domed metal construction you see here and covered with copper leaf. Visit Bulgaria .... bring your camera!
