In preparation for the planned revitalization project in Plovdiv Old Town, some
important improvements are taking place. New street lighting has been installed
along these old streets which have long been too dark at night to make anyone
feel welcome. The lighting project was moved forward with the assistance of
Mrs. Theodora Stoikova, Chief of Old Town Administraton and Mr. Vassil
Rainov - an expert from the Plovdiv Electricity Board. Soon the snow will melt
and all the trees will be green again.
