 This monument to Father Kamen Vichev was erected on 11 November, 2000 in a garden on Boulevard Maria-Luiza, not far from Cathedral of St. Ludwig of the French. The priest is one of three who were executed by the communists in 1952 and beatified by Pope John Paul II during his visit to Plovdiv on May 26, 2002. |
