All Bulgaria Virtual Guide Network - ABVG.Net - is the sole property of myself, Richard Zastrow, USA citizen, 1124 West 5th Street, Grandfield, OK 73546 - Tel. 580-479-5757. It was established officially on November 1, 2003.

Living in Bulgaria for four years (2000-2003) I have travelled throughout this wondrous land. Struck in year 2000 that there was no English-language website which fully "did justice" to the land and its people, I established Plovdiv City Guide in the autumn of 2001.

The site grew and matured under my guidance but was suffering from its limited scope. By the early spring of 2002, I envisioned a site such as this, with information about all of Bulgaria's wonders, and realized it would take many hands and minds to make it successful. But by late summer, I was penniless ... and then I developed a serious strain of pneumonia and was hospitalized for 50 days.

During this time, I decided that (a) I would have to return to the USA and (b) I would need to turn that site over to someone else who could continue its operation and growth.

Now that I am recovered and back in the USA, I find the strength - and a few of the friends necessary - to make this project. If some of you folks out there would like to help All Bulgaria Virtual Guide Network spread knowledge of the Bulgarian land and at the same time become a part of our growth and success, I need some plain old money. Any donations will go to help keep All Bulgaria Virtual Guide Network alive and growing. I know that most people expect sites to be free, but All Bulgaria Virtual Guide Network is my personal endeavor and not a company web site.

Such niceties as corporate backing are not available (of course, if you are a corporation, I sure could use your help also); neither are government grants and give-a ways, or the billions spent on other world cultural endeavors. So, I have to bankroll myself from my rather limited Social Security income. My expenses mount on a daily basis; all software used in the creation and editing of the pages and their content is purchased outright from the publisher at their full price - AAAA ethics do not permit any temptation to hijack illegal copies. My eyesight is failing with the advancing years and recently it became mandatory that I purchase a large LCD monitor. Although I "shopped around" for the best bargain, I still spent a sizable chunk of change. But now I can see what I am doing (grin).

My websites are being used a great deal lately. GREAT! That's what they are there for. But websites cost a considerable amount to maintain, at least if you want to keep them up to date.
