Bulgaria is very attractive tourist destination because of the uncounted miraculous workings of nature and numerous natural phenomena scattered across the country. It is a small piece of paradise blending within itself the remarkable beauty of the azure, warm turquoise Black Sea and ranges of majestic, snow-topped mountains. These photos illustrate a sampling of the enchanting nature found in the virgin forests of Bulgaria's Strandja mountains.

There is a peninsula of land jutting out into the Black Sea south of Burgas. The wooded hills of the Strandja mountains are much lower than the other 5 mountains in Bulgaria. The mountain is covered with coniferous trees and they are quite unique among all other Bulgarian mountains. Stoilovo and Vizitsa lie on the Burgas-to-Gramatikova Road. The village of Stoilovo is perched on a hill between the Veleka and Aidere rivers, close to Malko Turnovo, Brashlyan and Petro niva.
